When using it with a MacBook, there is the issue of what to do with the display. Originally, I was using a MacBook Air 2017, and when I transferred to a MacBook Pro 2020, the impact of the Retina display was shocking - it became incredibly clear. So, if possible, I would recommend purchasing a 4K external display, even though it's a bit expensive, as they are easy to obtain for a reasonable price these days, such as the Dell 27-inch 4K LCD which can be supplied with 65W via USB Type-C. Dell also has a paper stating that using a sub-display can increase work efficiency by about 1.8 times.
As for the display stand, the basic stand is probably fine, but it's better to stick with the VEGA mount, a common standard for display stands. If you're still not sure, there's an option called the Space Monitor from Samsung, which includes both a monitor and a stand and keeps the cables hidden on the back. Currently, 27 inch monitors don't seem to have very high image quality, as they are only WQHD. However, for 32-inch models, they seem to support 4K UHD. If you're buying in Japan, importing it from Amazon.com would be the best option. other display concepts include fixing it with a monitor.
